When I named my blog juice and caffeine, I really meant it. Seriously. I run off of caffeine anymore, and all my kids beg me for is juice. It's astounding how much fluid these kids can inhale. Plus the fact that my one cup of coffee only helps me last the first 3 hrs of my day is somewhat depressing lately. I wonder if anyone has invented a caffeine i.v.
It's crazy what kind of things you can get into when your not around a computer. I've decided to give up facebook for a month, and the first two days were actually easy. I thought this would have given me a challenge, but from what I assumed was an addiction seemed to just be something I did in spare time. I didn't even know I had time to spare anymore. Although it is nice to know that I don't have people looking at my pictures, words I write, or the biggest downfall of having a facebook- thinking they can catch me in a lie or having some stupid petty arguement on the fb site. It's really nice to relax at home, spend quality time with my kids (which actually I've had the T.V off for the whole day and I haven't heard a complaint ONCE!) and even get my editing finished, and catch up on my homework, and even better-
I'M NOT STRESSED!!
Yes, I know you can't necessarily blame the fb for stress, but since I just deactivated my phone from it, and 'deactivated'-although they tell you you can come back anytime- it from my computer, it's nice to not even have it as a button anymore. Now, of course, pinterest isn't going anywhere. I'll be damned if i get rid of that fantastic invention.
What bothers me now is the friends I had on facebook- whom all physically have my phone number, know where I live and a good idea of my schedule- haven't even asked me about it. And here I thought they were paying attention. Oh well. Shows true colors I suppose. It shows that they lost my phone number or something too.. haven't heard from them in a while unless it's on fb. When I get it back, I will definitely slow my usage down.
Now, I bet your curious as to how classes are going. (yea right, but I'm telling you anyways)
Nursing degree is right around the corner!! An a&p exam is coming up, as well as about 8 papers :/ my ass better get in gear.I'm truly surprise my hand hasn't fallen off yet because of all the writing I've done. 134 slides in biology and she won't post them up online for me to just copy and print. Yea, it's bullshit, but apparently she doesn't like making things easy for anyone. This semester has the potential of making me an alcoholic. Totally ok with that.
As for my little juice boxes:) they're growing up. Growing up as in being a 6 year old and asking for a cell phone. Next will be the car. I'll tell them a nice matchbox car from walmart is what they'll get. Sounds good enough.
